My husband and I have a college friend that has become much more than just a friend to us in adulthood. He’s our travel companion, board game buddy and often my husband’s partner in crime. Fluffing trains, making announcements, setting up arches, veil whooshing and more — Spencer has been the man of the hour for myself and so many other brides.
So, when he set up a romantic surprise proposal for his childhood sweetheart in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, I knew I had to be there on their big day.
There were fresh rose petals, dozens of photo memories and cards and Perfect by Ed Sheeran on loop — I can sing it in my sleep now. After hours of waiting for me — and years of waiting for Spencer— Amanda said yes in just a few seconds!
